 Miss Schmitz's Calendar for February: Hello Parents, Just think SPRING is March 20!!! It'll be a nice change from all this rain and cold weather. We survived another winter in NC!! IMPORTANT DATES: March 10: Salisbury Walking Tour March 13: Writing Assessment March 27: Show and Tell March 30: Snow Make-up Day Parents, please attend the Third Grade Show and Tell. This is an opportunity for you to spend the day in your child's classroom and see your child "in action". Lunch will be provided! During the next few weeks our Math class will be learning about measurement in customary and metric units. Knowing about measurement will help students use length, capacity and weight or mass in everyday life! Science has been a real experience for us this past week. We have learned just about everything there is to know about SOIL. Ask your child about all the experiments we have been conducting and have them tell you what they have learned about soil.
