Current Academic Focus Areas
Reading/English Language Arts- We have started Theme 4 "Animal Habitats". These stories focus on animal habitats and how we interact with them. 

In Language Arts, we are working on identifying and using adverbs and reviewing capitalization and punctuation rules.

Writing - We have learned about what components make up a beginning, middle, and end of a story. Students are now writing stories and focusing on developing these components.

Math - Students are working on geometry concepts. Students should continue to study their multiplication facts every night and memorize them.

Science  - Students are learning about the patterns of movement of the Earth, moon, and sun.
