RAITI'S REVUE

WELCOME TO MY PAGE.




      Welcome to my page.  Wow! We get to come to school for a full week.

CAN FOOD DRIVE:  NOVEMBER 16 - DECEMBER 4

SUBJECTS:   Every week you can look to see what we are focusing on.  The spelling and vocabulary words will be posted weekly at the end of this page.

READING:    We will continue our author study.  We will also start the novel, "MOLLY'S PILGRIMS".  Also starting Wednesday, we will be going to the Media Center for a Keyboarding Camp.  We will be doing all kinds of technology.  We will do this for 4 days.

MATH:   What is multiplication, introduction. (1's - 12's)  We had a great introduction to multiplication.  Now, we will start memorizing the facts.  This is a hard concept for some students.  One way to get better at the facts is to practice them over and over.  You can say them as you are riding from one activity to another.  Also there are flash cards on this site for them to use.  So please encourage your child to study, study, study......(2's this week)

CONGRATULATIONS CLASS!!!  Everyone made a hundred on their 0's and 1's test.   WOW!!!!!!

SCIENCE:  We are learning about the skeletal system.

SOCIAL STUDIES:  We will be learning about our continents and oceans.  Map study is going strong.


Green Home Folders:  These folders will go home every Monday.  On the left side are daily papers that the grades are not recorded.  The papers on the right are recorded and the results will be posted on the report card.   Please look over these papers, take them out of the folder and do not send the papers back to school.    Sign the front of the folder and send it back on Tuesday.
