We change classes at 8:25 and it makes it very stressful if they are rushed in the morning. ![]() ![]() Everyday your child is expected to read for 30 minutes. It is a good idea for your child to read an AR book. I hope that everyone has seen the reading log that I am requiring each child to have filled out EVERY night. If you have any questions about the requirements please contact me. ![]() Math We are working with Numeration in Math. This means we are learning how numbers are put together and how to take them apart. We are learning place value, comparing and ordering and rounding. ![]() Donations are always appreciated. Our class can always use index cards (any size, any color), pencils, erasers, tissues or anything else that you would like to give. Writing The students will begin writing one paragraph each night. I expect it to be 4-5 GOOD sentences. More details are forthcoming, We are studying Animal Adaptations at this time. HOMEWORK It is very important that your child does his/her homework each night. Your child will feel prepared for class and will be able to actively participate in each lesson. Please make a quiet, comfortable place for your child to do his/her work each night. |
