Dear Parents and Students, We are back and in secession, gearing up and ready to make 2010 a successful year. Thank you to all who have donated school supplies to the classroom and read with our students. This comes in very handy for those in need. Make sure to monitor your child's independent reading progress. Make sure your child reads every night to ensure their success. Inital their reading log as well. I will be checking these regularly and having conferences with your child to check their progress. Our class will be taking a field trip to the Merony Theater in February. There, we will be seeing a play by William Shakespeare, "A Midsummer's Night Dream". We will be discussing the play before and after we go. This program is aligned with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study for fourth grade.
