Dear Parents and Students, We are back and in sessison, gearing up and ready to make the 2008-2009 school year a successful one. Thank you to all who have donated school supplies to the classroom. This comes in very handy for those in need. This week your child recieved their 1st quarter AR goal. Make sure they read every night to ensure their success. Inital their reading log as well. I will be checking these regurally and having conferences with your child to check their progress. Our class will be taking a field trip on September 9th to Horizons Unlimited. There we will be learning about rocks and minerals as well as doing some "heart heathly" activities. This program is alinged with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study for fourth grade. Thanks,
