Academic Support

    The goal of this course is to enhance reading, writing, speaking, listening, and higher order thinking skills. Proficiency in these five areas of communication is crucial to the future success of SHS students as citizens of the world.

    Each student is expected to read for a minimum of 15 minutes per night. Books are available for checkout from both the school library and the class library.  Thirty five Young Adult titles are on playaways.  Parent permission is required to check these books out since their value is $60-70.
