Third Grade is the Place to BE! Weekly Homework: Each night the children are to read 20 minutes, along with the assigned work from class. Monday - Thursday : Reading, spelling practice and normally math. (Depends on the day) Friday - Read, and have a great weekend!! (Please remember that homework can be altered depending on the activities of the day. Please follow the assignments written in the planner, nightly.) Remediation: Review centers - Math and Reading Skills Our Daily Schedule: 8:00-8:30 Arrival/ Morning Work 8:30-9:00 Writing 9:00-10:20 Guided Reading/ Independent Practice 10:20-11:05 Enhancement Monday - Music Tuesday- Computer Wednesday - Art Thursday - Conferencing Friday - P.E. 11:05-11:45 Lunch 11:45-12:15 Recess 12:15-12:45 Science/Social Studies 12:45-2:05 Math 2:05-2:50 Remediation 2:50-3:00 Homeroom Important Dates: May 4 - Early Release Day May 8 - 4th Quarter Progress Reports May 15/16/17 - End of Grade Testing (EOG) Stay up to date with your child's progress and class information by making sure you look at their planner for updates and assignments daily. (Please sign it each night.)
