Welcome to Mrs. DiStefano's web page! Boys and girls, We are going to have a fun-filled year in Science. This year we will study about food chains, weather, landforms, and forces/motion. The best part is that we will learn through hands on inquiry based experiments. Social Studies will focus on North America: including the United States, Canada and Mexico. We will discuss the culture and traditions in these other countries, as well as learn about U.S. history and geography. I hope you are excited about the fifth grade. Many wonderful opportunities await you! Parents, Remember to sign your child's agenda daily. Also, please return his/her signed Thursday folder each Friday.
