WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE ART ROOM?!!!!

Wow!  Have we been busy!  We have completed the art shows at Waterworks and the Carolina Artists Art Expo, decorated grocery bags for Earth Day, and watercolors for Mother's day.

Fifth grade self portraits are in the cafeteria if they are finished.  They learned about Andy Warhol, and made prints of their original drawings.  They turned out pretty good and the kids really enjoyed the process.  Fourth graders did a half realistic and half Picasso  self portraits.  They used colored pencils on the realistic side and painted the Picasso side.  They had fun abstracting themselves!

I am continuing to publish some student artwork on the Artsonia website.  It is a process that will continue over the summer as I have to do most of that at home.  I hope to utilize this site more next year.  Once I get all the grade levels set up it will be easier...I hope!

It is almost the end of the year.  It has gone fast!  EOG's are next week and before you know it we'll be out for summer and starting again in August.  I hope all of you have a great summer and look forward to seeing you next year.  Thanks for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Ms. Lineberger
