MAGIC IN THE ART ROOM!!!It is great to be back in the art room after Spring Break!! Kindergarten through Second Students are learning about the Primary and Secondary colors and how to make new colors. Third-Fifth graders are focusing on color values in addition to learning about the color wheel. Artists we will learn about include Georgia O'Keefe, Claude Monet, and Paul Klee. The Carolina Artist's Art Show Expo reception is Thursday, April 24th from 5:00-7:00 pm. It is at the Salisbury Civic Center on Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Hope to see you there! Both of my schools have students in this show-if your child has art on display, they should have a note in their agenda. The show will be up from Wednesday through Friday. It features art work from Kindergarten through Grade 12-it is so amazing to see the progression from year to year. It has been a very busy but productive year in the art room!!
