 We have begun third quarter.  This quarter, we will work on writing fiction.  In math, we will review 2 and 3 digit adding and subtracting with regrouping and problem solving.  Students should coninue to practice their addition and subtraction facts to eighteen.  In Social Studies, we are learning about many famous Americans.

Scholastic.com is a great resource for your child to enrich his/her love of reading.  There are many interactive places where they can learn more about many of their favorite characters.
 
ONLINE MATH RESOURCES
 
 Spacey Math is a fun way to practice addition and subtraction facts. Design your own flashcards and study your addition facts. In this online activity you will drag the words describing a picture to make a newspaper article. To practice your spelling visit this website and click on writing. For a fun way to review letter sounds.
