Title I Reading
Morgan Elementary School is a school-wide Title I School. There are three Title I staff members:
- Mrs. Wendy Eller, Title I Teacher -- Kindergarten, 1st, and 3rd Grades
- Mrs. Sherry Kluttz, Title I Tutor -- Kindergarten and 2nd Grades
- Mrs. Bonnie Rollins, Title I Tutor -- 2nd Grade
Title I Classes
The Title I classes of Mrs. Eller & Mrs. Kluttz consist of small groups of children that work outside of their homeroom for approximately 30 minutes per day. Skills in reading and math are targeted in remediation lessons for the purpose of strengthening the skills that are needed to meet each grade level's curriculum goals.
Weekly Homework
A folder containing reading activities will be sent home throughout the week. Please sign the reading log indicating that your child completed the assignment. These reading assignments are meant to provide your child with reading materials that are appropriate for the level of your child or for the curriculum needs of your child. Homework assignments in your child's homeroom should take priority over the Title I homework.

An email contact can be made at your convenience. Voice mails are checked at the end of each school day and emails are checked throughout the school day at various times.
