This is my fourth year at Millbridge Elementary but my 10th year as a school counselor.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from West Virginia University.  In 2005 I received certification from National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in School Counseling/Early Childhood through Young Adulthood.

Honor Roll Students

We celebrated with our All A Honor Roll students at the ice cream sundae party on February 8th.  Students earn more toppings each time they make the All A Honor Roll.  Some students were able to choose 5 toppings this time!  We had a total of 56 students on the All A Honor Roll and 58 students on the A/B Honor Roll. Congratulations to everyone.  Lets see how many will get to come to our celebration for the third nine weeks!

Healthy Active Students and Counselor!

Our school focus is on healthy active children and what better way to motivate children is to have healthy adult role models.  I have registered for the Cooper River Bridge Run (10K) in Charleston, SC.  The run will take place on Saturday, April 2nd.  I work with students around setting goals and working hard to accomplish their goals.  I have set my personal goal to finish the race in 50 - 59 minutes!  You will be able to see my results online.  I will give you more updated information closer to the race.  I encourage everyone to set personal goals. They can be to make better grades, read more, exercise more and eat healthier.  Good luck to everyone, its never to late to make a new years resolution...even in March!
