We are very proud of the students and staff at North for meeting 17 out of 17 or 100% of our No Child Left Behind goals for the 2008-2009 year. Our focus for the 2009-2010 year will be Reading. Our goal is to have every student reading on grade level by the third grade year. It will require effort on the part of teachers, students and families if we are to reach this goal. We are also very proud of the progress that has been made in transitioning our school into a 21st Century Learning Community. We appreciate the support we receive from our Faith-Based Community as well as the community at large.With everyone working together we will continue to make progress.Our Communities In Schools Family Center is an available resource for everyone and we look forward to working with our entire school community throughout the coming year.It is amazing what can be accomplished when nobody cares who receives the credit.
