English for Speakers of Other Languages

ESOL classes are planned to provide help to all those students whose primary language is not English. ESOL classes are mainly focused on helping children to develop learning strategies and skills to ease the regular classroom immersion and make the transition to the English language smoother.

ESOL classes are planned according to the regular classroom's lessons and to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.

Please come to school regularly to learn about your child's academic progress. Do NOT wait until the end of the school year!

Remember:

* make sure your child reads for 20 minutes every day
* make sure your child goes to bed early
* make sure your child is ready for school everyday
* make sure your child does their homework and turns
