English for Speakers of Other Languages Ingles Para Hablantes de Otros Idiomas Las clases de ESOL estan diseñadas para proporcionar ayuda a todos aquellos alumnos cuya lengua materna no es el idioma Inglés. La clase de ESOL se enfoca principalmente en ayudar a los estudiantes a desarrollar habilidades y estrategias de aprendizaje que los ayude a facilitar su inmersiónn dentro del salón regular y su transición al idioma Inglés. Las clases de ESOL están ligadas a los temas que se ven en el salón regular y a los estandares académicos de Carolina del Norte. Por favor asista a la escuela regularmente para informarse del avance acedémico de su hijo, NO espere al final del ciclo escolar!
Recuerde: * hacer que su hijo/a lea al menos 20 minutos cada día * que su hijo/a se acueste a dormir temprano * a su hijo/a estar preparado para la escuela todos los dias * a su hijo/a hacer y entregar las tareas *si tiene un a pregunta, por favor escribe una nota o email o llamar (704-857-7708) What is ESOL? English for Speakers of Other Languages ESOL classes are planned to provide help to all those students whose primary language is not English. ESOL classes are mainly focused on helping children to develop learning strategies and skills to ease the regular classroom immersion and make the transition to the English language smoother. ESOL classes are planned according to the regular classroom's lessons and to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. Please come to school regularly to learn about your child's academic progress. Do NOT wait until the end of the school year! Remember: * make sure your child reads for 20 minutes every day * make sure your child goes to bed early * make sure your child is ready for school everyday * make sure your child does their homework and turns it in * if you have a question, please write a note, email or call (704-857-7708) I am looking forward to seeing you at school!!
