IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EXAM PREPARATION AND HELP

NOTICE:  During exams, I will be staying after school until 3:30 to answer questions.  If you have questions while we are out for snow, you can email your questions to me from this page.  I will check for questions and reply.

NOTICE: French students: Please go to downloads for copies of the writing section of the French 1 and French 3 exams.  You should prepare this section and practice it before the exam.

NOTICE:  Please go to classzone.com for study questions for each unit on your exam.  French 1will have Units 1-6, French 3 will have Units 5-8.

Extra Help for Students: Students in Spanish  and  French  are strongly encouraged to attend after-school tutorial sessions with Mrs. Eldridge.  See Mrs. Eldridge to schedule your tutoring session.

Test Corrections:  All students are encouraged to do test corrections. Once corrected the test score increases based on the following formula:       (original score X 0.75) + 25 = corrected test score.  Students must do test corrections in room 254 after school on Fridays or Tuesday mornings before school. Corrections must be completed and turned in by the day of the next test.

Tues Oct 5 Prepare for verb quiz: COURIR in near future, present, commands, imperfect, and passe compose.

Wed Oct 6 Study for test on Lesson 17.

Thurs Oct 7 Prepare for 1)interview on daily routine (You will need to use reflexive and non-reflexive verbs in present tense)and 2) presentation using the imperfect "Quand j'etais petit(e)..."

Fri Oct 8 Finish Language Logs for week of October 4-8. Turn them in Monday.

Mon Oct 11 Finish written classwork and enter that for your Language Log entry today.  Lesson 19 pages 292-295 Activities 1-4 and Activity 6.  In the Workbook, do pages 171-173 (you will need to refer to pages 292-295 AND PAGE 296.

Tue Oct 12 Prepare for Timed Writing (short test grade) Refer to page 174 of your workbook.  You will have to write about your personal morning routine, using the present tense.  You will need to use several reflexive verbs and also verbs that are not reflexive.  You will write what you do from the moment you wake up until you arrive at school.

Wed Oct 13 Tomorrow we will be working on skits.  You can review reflexive verbs in your white book.  In the red book, review new vocabulary for self-description on page 36 and toilet articles on page 42.  Remember to work on your Language Log.

Mon Oct 18 Language Logs for October 11-15 are due tomorrow.  Short Test on Lesson 20.

Tue Oct 19 We will film your skit projects tomorrow.  Be ready.

Tue Oct 26 All Language Logs are due Wednesday.

French Club Information

Any student enrolled in a French class can join the French Club. Annual Membership Dues are $5.00 for new members and $3.00 for returning members.
