English III

Welcome to English III.  This class will be a survey of American Literature.  Also, all juniors are given the opportunity to write the Research paper portion of the Graduation Project.

Topics for the 3rd nine weeks include the following:

The Crucible

The Scarlet Letter

Speak

Thoreau

Apr 21 - First draft of paper due (EVEN IF ABSENT)

May 13 - Revision and FInal copy DUE

English II -

English II is a course that is designed to prepare students for the NC State Writing Test and improve their writing skills. During this course, students will explore expository writing.  Students will also explore controversial issues that are occuring throughout the world.
