Welcome to my web page. I hope that you will visit it often to hear about the wonderful and exciting things that are happening at North Rowan Elementary.

Our  PTA officers for the 2011-2012 school year are: President- Keisha Sherrill, Vice-President-Leah Wetmore-Durham, Secretary-Sandy Buechler, and Treasurer-Sherry Matthews-Stinson. A big thank you to these fine folks for volunteering their time and talents.

  We are continuing with our Breakfast Book Club.  This year we will again include  second graders as well as first graders.  Three dates will be scheduled for second grade  and the first grade book club will begin after the winter break. 

We are also excited about the new additions to our Wii game room. Teachers will rotate through the different stations with their students.  Each classroom has an assigned day and time to visit the game room.  A BIG thank you goes out to Mr. Brady, our P.E. teacher, for making this happen.  Also as part of becoming more physically active, our teachers and students will be participating in the Mighty Miler's program.  You will be hearing more about this new program in the coming weeks.
