First Period: English I                     EOC Course

 Second and Third Periods:  College Preparatory English IV

For perhaps the final year, each senior will be required to complete an eight to ten page research paper. This paper will be based on a novel written by a British-born novelist from 1500-2008. Unlike comparison/contrast, argumentative, or opinion-based research papers of English past, this paper is an analytical look behind the themes or intentions of a particular novel.
