 We are entering into third quarter and your children continue to impress me with their eagerness to learn! Our bulb project continues and is going well. We have already observed several sprouts. Hopefully the extreme cold will not adversely affect this growth. Students are making notes in their science journals about their observations. All of us thoroughly enjoyed reading and discussing My Side of the Mountain. We have just started reading Bridge to Terabithia. As we read this novel, we will be exploring our understanding and feelings about friendship. Multiplication has become a part of our focus in math. We have enjoyed learning about models for multiplication and playing games with the multiplication facts.
