High Frequency Words

Students in second grade are responsible for knowing how to read and spell 200 High Frequency Words.  They learned the first 25 in kindergarten, the next 75 in first grade, and we will add 100 new words throughout this year.  The entire list can be found in the Second Grade Brochure at http://www.rss.k12.nc.us/eled/default.html

Envision  Math

Every morning 8:45-9:30 is Second Grade Activity Block.


During second quarter we have Thinking Skills with Miss Florida on Mondays 9:40-10:10.

 

Students must wear tennis shoes in order to participate safely in P.E. and recess.  Media instruction with Mrs. Moyes or Mrs. Wilhelm will be a flexible schedule.
