Welcome to all who have come this way!

February 8- February 12, 2010

Please help your student stay healthy during this flu season.  Help them to get plenty of rest; drink plenty of water; eat healthy foods...and wash their hands often.

Check the Rowan Salisbury Schools homepage for information about the H1N1 flu.

In Language Arts this week, we will finish our two week unit on research.  Our research was interrupted by the winter weather; but we will need to finish by Friday, February the 12th.  All research should be finished by Tuesday; with the rest of the week devoted to working on the key note presentation in the computer lab.  This project was to count more than once; but with the winter weather absences and delays I have decided to count the project just one time.

This week in math , we will take a quiz on Greatest Common Factor and Least Common Multiple.  We have reviewed both of these concepts over the past two weeks.  Students need to study their notes and review problems in the text book.  We will begin a unit on fractions after the quiz.

A phone call (704-857-7946, ext. 820), a note, or an e-mail are the easiest ways to contact me.  I have moved into a new room.  Please contact the operator to ring my new room until my ext. is updated.
