Reading - Reading is a very important part of first grade.  Read with your child every night/day and ask your child to retell the story for comprehension.  Writing about what they read also help comprehension.

                 New story - The Surprise Family

Math -  review math skills

       Practice with your child addition and subtraction facts.  Flashcards are an excellent way to practice.  Also practice number words 75 - 99

Science  ---   plants and ocean

Social Studies  ---  change
