I will continue to send Reading Folders home, but I have added a math and writing component that I send in your child's homework folder on Fridays> Reading - Setting, characters with the beginning, middle and end of the story. Learning high frequency words and sounding out simple words Writing - Stretching words to hear the sounds in thewhole words Writing simple sentences to match their pictures Math - numbers, patterns, sorting and shapes Science/SS - Winter, Cold weather animals, and Martin Luther King Jr.
