This assignment is due the last Friday of each month. During the first quarter, our students will complete the study of North Carolina Geography in relation to the United States. Moreover, we will review concepts of Latitude and Longitude. Later, we will begin a comprehensive unit on the Native Americans and their origins. This will lead us to the Early Explorers section and their relationships. This unit will take us through the end of the quarter. Important Dates: Sept. 7 = Labor Day Sept. 29 = Teacher Workday Sept. 30 = 1st Progress Report Oct. 29 = Early Release Day End of 1st Quarter Grading Period Oct. 30 = Teacher Workday Nov. 10 = 1st Report Cards |
