Welcome to Fourth Grade at Millbridge Elementary School! Home of the Millbridge Musketeers Happy New Year! We are almost in the second half of our school year! It has been a great start. Reading News Our reading theme for 2009-2010 will be "Plant a Seed, READ!" Beginning March 2nd, we will be learning about and following the Iditarod race in Alaska. This dog sled race takes place each year and creates a lot of excitement in our classrooms. Look for more information to follow. Math News Multiplication facts are very important in fourth grade... keep working on them! I have added a link at the bottom of this page for an online version of our math book. My students have a password that they can use to access it from home. Social Studies and Science We will begin the year with Social Studies and then alternate between that and Science. We are currently studying famous North Carolinians. Did you know that three of our former presidents were from North Carolina?

Fourth Grade Behavior Plan 2009-2010 RULES Be prepared for school. Be respectful to each other. Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself. Have a positive attitude at all times. REWARDS Positive note or phone call home Fun Friday: monthly themed grade level activities Coupons for weekly good behavior Bean Jar: Beans will be put in the jar daily as students exhibit good behavior. When the jar is full, the grade level will earn extra PE time.
