HELLO AND WELCOME TO MISS RIDDLE'S WEBSITE WHERE WE ARE "MONKEYING" AROUND IN THE THIRD GRADE!!!

First of all, let me tell you thank you for taking an interest in your child's education. It means a lot to have supportive parents. Next let me make you aware of what we are doing this January in our class. In math, we will be working on fractions, geometry, and multiplication. In Reading, we will be focusing on new vocabulary words and comprehension strategies. In Writng, we will be using "Writer's Workshop" in our class to encourage writing and the process in which it should be done. (Ask your child about his/her stories - they are great!)  As for Science, we will continue studying the moon, stars, and constellations. In Social Studies, we will continue studying communities and its leaders.

As you can see we will stay busy throughout the month and with your support, we will be successful. Below are the "normal" homework assignments for most weeks so that you are sure to stay informed.

Mondays - 1st Spelling assignment

Tuesdays - 2nd Spelling assignment

Thursdays - Vocabulary Tests (if there are new words that week)

Fridays - Spelling Test
