HERON'S MATH WORLD

Welcome to 7th grade math!

Cores 1,2,5,6: We have begun our study in Geometry! We will learn how to identify and classify various polygons and polyhedra, and be able to determine lines of symmetry, rotational symmetry, and understand the concept of similarity.

Core 7: We are finishing up our study of Geometry and will be moving onto Measurement. There, we will use our knowledge of Geometry to calculate and compare the volumes of certain 3-D solids.

Homework can be expected to be assigned Monday through Thursday. Homework is graded based on effort and diligence. Homework is reviewed daily in class and it is expected that students will ask questions and make corrections during class time to previously assigned homework.
