![]() Thank you so much for sending in snacks for our class! The children really do appreciate it!
Math: Students continue to enjoy working with manipulatives. The manipulatives provide a hands-on learning experience for the children and make learning fun! Continue to practice math facts at home to develop fluency. Science: Our class has enjoyed learning about matter. They really enjoyed our sink and float experiment! Social Studies: This quarter, we will continue to study certain holidays such as Dr. Martin Luther King day, Presidents' Day to name a few. We will also focus on economics (goods and services). Continue to read every night, study high frequency words, and math facts. A snack schedule has been sent home. If you are not able to send a snack on the assigned day, please let me know. Also, if your child is sick, do not send them to school. We do not want to put other students at risk. Make sure you review classroom rules with your child. We respect ourselves, respect others, respect learning, and respect property. Remind them of the importance of following rules at school. Thank you for your continued support!! Ms. Shahid-El
