 Welcome to First Grade! Welcome to First grade at Isenberg Elementary School! We are so excited about this school year. Here are some things you need to know: Tardies: Students need to arrive at the school no earlier than 7:50 and no later than 8:20. Tardies begin at 8:25. Ten (10) tardies equals 1 absence. Snack/Lunch: Since our lunch time is at 12:09, we will be having snack in our classroom. A snack schedule will be sent home. Please make sure you check the calendar for your child's day. If you cannot provide snack on the designated day, please let me know so other arrangements can be made. Remember, no peanuts or home-made products. Agendas: Check and sign your child's agenda each night. The agenda is one of the ways to communicate with you so it will have your child daily behavior report in it as well as other notes. School supplies: Please make sure you send in school supplies for your child as soon as possible. Let me know if you need a list. Homework: Homework will be sent home every Monday and due every Friday. Please make sure your child completes their homework. The spelling words are high frequency words. They will need to be able to read and spell each word. I look forward to working with you and your child this year! Remember that their education is a cooperative effort.
