A quick personal update: For those of you following our son Riley- He is now back home and doing well. In February, he was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain tumor. He and my wife, little girl Elizabeth and I traveled to Memphis, TN where Riley received treatment at St. Jude's medical center.

The
NC Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) lists the Standard Course
of Study Objectives which will be taught this semester, as usual. These
can be found by clicking here for Spanish I, and here for Spanish II.
The
textbook series adopted by our system is designed and aligned to meet
the objectives provided by NCDPI. Our textbook is the "Realidades"
series by Pearson-Prentice Hall, which will help us achieve these
goals/objectives of the Standard Course of Study.
