![]() Welcome to Fifth Grade What we are doing in Mrs. Brown's Class: Science Topic: Students are working in groups of three to complete a landform research and model project. Students will have 1 week to do the research on a landform to create a poster and build a model out of clay. This project is to be completed in class, so that I can help guide them allowing. Homework: Read 20 Minutes nightly . ![]() Science Class Rules 1.) Be responsible. Remember to bring all things needed to class (basically notebook and folder.) 2.) Be respectful. Remember to treat others the way you want to be treated. 3.)Be Prepared. Have science notebook, pencils, and agenda and be ready for class. 4.) Be Safe. Science is very hands on therefore we have make sure we do thing safely to ensure the best learning environment. ![]() Consequences 1st offense- Warning written in agenda 2nd offense- Walking at Recess /writing in agenda/ Minor incident report filled out for future reference if child has to go to the office 3rd offense- Silent Lunch / writing in agenda/ Minor incident report filled out for future reference if child has to go to the office 4th offense- Office referral or Bounced to another room. Minor incident report filled out for future reference if child has to go to the office ![]() Homework Students need to read every night for twenty minutes and fill out the reading log. Parents must sign off on this. The total minutes your child reads will be calculated each month. As a class if we read the most minutes for the month out of all the homeroom classes we will win a special reward from the principal. Students will have a few nights of homework in science usually studying vocabulary or for test or bringing in things for projects. |
