Hi Parents and Students!

Thank you so much for all your help today at Boomerangs!  The children truly had a great time!  I noticed on the bus ride back to school, how much fun they had by their sweet conversations to each other. 

This next week we will be continuing our Character Development cards.  Your children and I are reviewing on what being "Kind" means.  We will introduce the letter "Hh" and "Ss" we also are working on the letters "Mm," "Nn," "Bb," "Ll" and "Tt."  I will also be reviewing how to write the number 5 with the children.  We will be working on number concepts 1-8 and counting to 20.      

The Phonic Test for t,l,b,n will be on Monday, November 9th.  

Silly Sock Day will be on Friday, November 13th.  Please don't go out and spend money for a funny pair of socks.  The children can even mix up their socks to be silly.  

I apologize that I had the calendar show the LCA Book Fair for this next week.  I understand it will be in December per the PTF website.    

Our Star Student this next week will be Simali.  Thank you so much Hannah for being our Star Student this past week.  The children loved the fruit kabobs you brought for our treat!  It was fun to see all your pictures of your family and things you love!

Future Important Dates:

Chick-Fil A - Dine In Fundraiser for LCA on 11/13/09 from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.  A flyer with a special place to write in your name and the amount you spent for a percentage to be given to LCA from your meal.

Thanksgiving Feast - November 18th - Come enjoy with your child a special day where we eat as the Indians and Pilgrims in Fellowship Hall.  Fun family event!

Christmas Program- December 8th Tuesday Evening 6:30 p.m.

L.C.A. Preschool Christmas Program - Children will sing to their families in a special planned Christmas event - celebrating Jesus Christ's birth! 

If you should ever have any questions or need to speak with me please feel free to stay after class on either Wednesdays or Fridays.  I apologize but on Mondays I am going to be the Stay & Play teacher after class, so my time is limited.  You are also more than welcome to email me if needed.
