Dear Parents,

Wow!  It is hard to believe we are into our last week of school.  I have been so blessed to have such a sweet class of children and families.  Each summer I pray for the new children that I will be teaching for the fall.  I love how God plans for each child to be in my class.  He has a plan for each of us and a time for all the lessons we learn together.  You may not know this but I grow in my faith with you all throughout the year.  Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be your child's teacher.

Lastly, I am so proud of your children!  I have been talking about "personal best" all your long.  It is my class "Busy Bee" motto.  I want the children to try on their class work and not to rush through it.  My heart this week has been dancing; here it is close to the end of the year and they are still wanting to show me wonderful work.  Oh, I praise them daily for their hard work!

If you ever have any questions, please feel free to talk with me after class.  Below is information on what your children will be learning this next week in class.

God Bless!

Ms. Celine

Snacks

A small snack is provided by LCA every day about an hour after school starts.  If you want to send a special snack for the class, just please let me know ahead of time.

Lunches

Please pack a lunch for your child each day.  We do not have access to a refrigerator or microwave, so please pack accordingly.

Backpacks

Please send a backpack for your child with a change of clothes in it.  I realize everyone is potty trained at this age, but accidents do happen, sudden illness can occur or a juice box may attack!

Illnesses

Please remember Lakeland’s policy on illnesses.  If your child has had a fever within 24 hours of the next school day, please keep them at home.  During this time of the year there are a lot of viruses going around and we want to keep everyone well.  The same 24 hours rule applies to vomiting and diarrhea.

Attire

Preschool students are not required to wear the LCA uniform.  Please send your child to school in comfortable clothes and shoes.

Closed toe shoes are best since our playground is covered with wood chips.

Field Trip Attire

Please purchase a LCA t-shirt from Parker Uniform (link below).  It is navy blue and has the LCA crest on it.  This shirt is required wear on all field trips.
