Welcome to Mrs. Brown’s 4/5 year old Class

Dear Parents,

Welcome to our class! It is a pleasure to have your child assigned to my class. I promise with God’s help to work vigorously to enrich you child’s total educational need, physically, socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually. This is our challenge and our goal.

We have accepted an incredible challenge for this community. The challenge for Miracle Academy is to present the best students with our deeds and God’s help by dedication and determination. In accomplishing these goals, our children, your children will compete among the best in our town, state, and country.

This year our class will use Scholastic News. Scholastic News is a monthly news letter that discusses current happenings in our world plus many other things that will enhance our curriculum. The cost of Scholastic news is $6.00.  You may send this fee by September.

The following supplies are to be kept at home for studying:

The Phonics CD, Flash cards for short/long vowels and consonants, 1 to 100 number sheet, and fact family sheet.

Also, we have annual festivities that your child will be a part of: Fall Festival, Christmas play, Black History, and Family and Friends. Our class color for fall festival/Homecoming is Pacific Blue. Our theme: Pirates/Wizards (boys) and Princess (girls).

I am committed to educating our children to soar high. However, we need your commitment in accomplishing this goal.

1. Commit to the assurance that homework is

    complete.

2. Commit to the purchasing of supplies.

3. Commit to begin a reading time with your

    child

4. Commit to fundraisers

With these commitments our children will go far and beyond your greatest expectations.

You are always welcome to visit and volunteer in my class.

Sincerely,

Geneva Brown
