8th grade ELA We are currently practicing CRCT items such as figurative language, rhyme scheme, etc.  Please make sure your child uses study island as much as possible at home.  The program really is wonderful.  It provides the practice they need to help them remember the skills taught.

Math  We are working on solving equations for x and y.  They need lots of practice.  Please use study island often.

7th grade  We are currently in Unit 4  They need to really study the notes we take in class.  It is a lot of material and it requires memorization.  They must spend at least a few minutes each night studying math in order to remember everything.  We are working on classifying angles, transformations, and other building blocks of Geometry.
