Welcome to my new students!  I hope you are enjoying your summer reading of a Jerry Spinelli book.  When you go shopping for your school supplies you do not need to buy a homework folder as I will be giving one to each of you.  Enjoy the rest of the vacation and I look forward to meeting you soon!

Thank you to those who were able to come to the Glen to meet the crewmembers. Your questions were great and your support awesome!!! We were presented with a proclamation thanking us for our support and dedication to the USS RI.  They so appreciate your letters and cards.  And they gave us a US flag that was flown on the submarine in May.  I will give it to the school to fly on our flagpole.  Thank you to all the students for the letters and cards you wrote.  Whenever I said I needed more letters to send you were all so willing to help out and you did it cheerfully:))  Thanks again and have a wonderful summer.

COME MEET SOME OF THE USS RI CREWMEMBERS

FRIDAY , JULY 3  2:00 AT GLEN PARK (where we had our picnic).  They will be in town to march in the Bristol 4th of July parade and would like to meet their penpals.  If anyone can make it, that would be great.  Come join us for an hour - refreshments too!  Maybe even a short soccer game.

I love my class picture with all your autographs!!  Thanks so much.  It is a gift I will treasure forever and will remind me of the super class of 2016!

Thank you to all who helped with the class picnic.  The students and I truly enjoyed it and appreciate all your efforts!!  The Magic show was great fun.  Thank you for my gift certificate to my favorite Newport businesses. I've had a wonderful year teaching your children and will miss them all.  They are a fun group!  I wish them all the best as they head off to 6th grade.

Congratulations to all students for their presentations of "Ode to My Hero".  Everyone did a wonderful job speaking in front of such a large group.  Thank you to all the heroes and other guests who attended this special event.  Your suppport is greatly appreciated!!
