FINAL EXAMS are comprehensive. On 5/11 every should have copied down the final exam content list- if not see the SPII syllabus in the classroom and notebook guidelines in your child's notebook- most everything on the SpII sylllabus is on the test. 

Completing the exam review according to the guidelines- (baically in class, usiing your notes and identifying the page in your notes where you found the answers) counts 10 pts on the final exam grade and or a major grade- my decision.

1. Its comprehensive- expect about around 200 questions

2. Completion of the exam review must be done in class using your notebooks. Completing the review is not a group activity! The counts 10 pts on the exam if you complete the review correctly. When I say "correctly" I mean in class, using your own notes(not copying the answers from someone else). The exam counts 20% of the term grade- as per school board policy.

**** This week we will work on a very lengthy final exam test review. This is in preparation for the final exam. The review will count as 10 pts on the final exam and or as a major grade. Student will have to complete  the review in class using their own notes.To get get credit for the review they must finish the bulk of the review in class each day. If by Friday they have not completed a small portion of the review I will allow students to finish it at home over the weekend and still get credit. However, copying others work or failure to stay on task in class may result in students not getting the 10 pts bonus on the exam.

We will also begin our review for the final exam. The review is extensive and must  be completed during class.  We will begin the review most likely on Tuesday. The review will count 10 pts on the final exam grade and or it will be a major test grade. The review will be completed under test taking procedure. However, I will allow student to use their own notes/notebooks to complete the review.  I will allow students to take home the review to study once they have completed the review.

Important dates:

10/21 quiz for those student who have to take the retake of the mid-term exam on Thursday- this quiz will be a sample of things on the retake. Hopefully after taking this quiz students will have a better idea of what further studying they should be doing

10/22 Major test on list 1-3 of our vacabulary

10/23 Major test - Re-take of midterm exam for those students who made an 80% or lower. This will not change your 1st. term grade but will help you learn the baisics which are necessary for you to continue in Spanish.I have discussed this with all re-takers- showed them what they missed on the exam and returned their reviews to use to study again.
