Happy New Year! Hope that the holiday break was an enjoyable one.

Henderson now has the connecting room. I am in charge of the connecting room. Students are sent here to help them to refocus and stay on task to prevent suspensions. I discuss the Applied Control Theories with the students and also help them with problems and situations. I enjoy talking with the students and sharing with them. The ultimate goal of the connecting room is to prevent suspensions and to allow students to stay in school. I also keep statistics on the number of suspensions, teacher referrals and other duties as assigned to me by the Principal. It  is my pleasure to serve the students because we are here because of them. I am excited to be at Henderson and I look forward to working with each of the students!
