Welcome to Mrs. Huntley's English/language arts page. Currently, each child should be reading each night and completing a reading log that will be due each Friday. The reading material can be a novel, magazine or newspaper as long as your child is reading each night. Your child will also be completing Daily Oral Language sentences, or DOLs each day as a warm up. After we have completed ten sentences, we will have a quiz on the sentences. As a way to study, your child is asked to rewrite the sentences the night before the quiz. I will award five extra credit points for each child that does this assignment. Please note that students are not allowed to be checked out after 3:00 PM.
