Here's what's going on in room 210....

Progress reports come home today.  Please sign and return for a 100 quiz grade.

We have begun our nonfiction unit.

Objective: 1.  I will demonstrate my ability to analyze and evaluate the author's craft in nonfiction.  2.  I will identify and analyze purpose and rhetoric in a nonfiction work. 3.  I will correct conventional written English.

Assignments:  1.  Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl   2. We are working with Greek number prefixes for Wordskills Lesson 4a.

Homework:  1.  Make flash cards for Wordskills 4a.  2.  Complete text message composition of paragraph paraphrased in class. 3.  Study nonfiction notes.

Tests and quizes:  1.  Wordskills 4a quiz on Friday the 14th.
