Dear Jaguar Parents,

  Thanksgiving break is November 25-29.  Early release, 12:45, is  November 24.

The permission slip and money for the Nutcracker Ballet and Los Arcos meal is due by December 2.


  I will begin reading tutoring on Thursday, December 3 from 3:15-4:15.  If your child made a level I or II on the EOG last year,  he/she would benefit from the tutoring. Please send a note on Thursday  morning of the day(s) your child will stay. 

In social studies we are doing research on a famous European and turning it into a multimedia presentation using Pages format. 


In language arts, we are reading a novel, The Midwife's Apprentice.  Students will create a newspaper using the Pages program.  Your child needs to read and complete a journal  entry each Monday and Wednesday.  We are continuing wordskills, grammar, and writing good sentences.

We will be writing your child's average for class grades in the organizer approximately every two weeks.
