***Occasionally, there will be additional homework assignments in various subjects that will need to be completed on the night it is sent home and returned the next day. Also, if your child fails to complete assignments in class, they may also be sent home.

 Our Classroom Rules:
1) Support one another; always congratulate your classmates for good work and good behavior. 2) Show respect to your classmates and all adults. 3) Shake hands firmly; repeat person's name; ask questions in conversation. 4) Respond to adults using "Yes ma'am", "No ma'am", "Yes sir", "No sir"; say "Please" and "Thank you". 5) Do not show disrespect with gestures or sounds. 6) Make eye contact with the person who is speaking, and face that person. 7) Accept mistakes and learn from them. 8) Be the best you can be.

We now have a website where your child can go online at home to practice their spelling words each week. The spelling words will be uploaded to this website each Friday for the following week. To access the website, go to www.spellingcity.com . Once on the website, click on the tab that says "FIND A LIST". When that window opens, you will want to search by teacher, enter "HOLLOWAY" as the search word and the press "ENTER". Scroll down the list until you see my name, "KIMBERLY HOLLOWAY". Click on my name and it will pull up all the spelling lists. The list is numbered List 1, List 2, List 3....etc. Look for the spelling unit with the highest number. This will be the current list that we are working on. This website offers a lot of different ways for your child to study and learn their spelling words each week. Plus, it's fun and they really love it! Encourage your child to do different activities with their spelling words. If you have and questions, PLEASE let me know!
