Gecko Team Seventh Grade Social Studies Mrs. Cross Welcome to my Schoolnotes page! Here you will find important information concerning the Gecko Team and 7th grade Social Studies! Thank you to all Parents, Guardians, and Loved Ones who joined us for our Parent Picnic in the auditorium a few weeks ago! We appreciate the difference you make in the lives of our students. Important Due Dates November 20th- A Christmas Carol Permission Slips are due and $20.00. The field trip is Thursday, December 17th. Please let us know if financial assistance is needed. Also, please let us know if you would like to sponsor another child for the trip as well. Students will also need to have $ with them the day of the trip to stop for lunch at a fast food restaurant. Nov. 16-20 Content Based Writing Assessment - We will be working on a writing assessment based on Africa's physical and human characteristics. This assignment will be due on Fri. Nov. 20th. Nov. 23-24 Team Progress Reports will be written in Student Organizers. Please check with your child for an update on their averages in all classes for the 2nd Quarter. Nov. 24 Early Release Day *Check out the "My Links" section of the webpage for important links that will help you access lots of important information pertaining to Social Studies (The online textbook can be found here as well).
