Week of February 6 - 10 Notebooks have been returned this week. Please review your student's grades and overall notebook score. Notebooks will be collected again the week of February 23. Monday - Students finished their webquest, "A Day in the Life of an Ancient Egyptian." Students then used an online game to create a pyramid. Students were challenged to select the correct materials, location, and workforce for their pyramid in addition to navigating the Nile to deliver supplies. Tuesday - Students will create a booklet, "If You Lived in Ancient Egypt" to be placed in their notebooks. Students will get more information about their upcoming in class project to build model pyramids. Wednesday - Students will complete a study of King Tutankhamun in small groups. Within each group, students will determine if his death was murder or from natural causes. They will present their findings and provide evidence to support their decisions. Thursday - Continue our study of King Tut. Friday - Planning day for project. More information to come... Please review your student's calendar each night. Some students are accumulating infractions for various behaviors and it is important that we all communicate to keep everyone on the right track.
