Gregory Gardens Elementary Roseann Colvig Room 29, Grade 4 School starts at 7:40 a.m. Homework for the Week of May 21, 2012: AR point goal for this week: 18 points by Friday Remember! Tuesdays the 5th graders are selling popcorn at lunch time. $.50 a bag! Homework: 1. Famous Californian Biography Report: The students have completed writing the rough drafts of their reports in class. This week at home, please sit with your student and help your child edit his/her report. They should expand on any sentences or facts that are too simplistic. Then your student should either type on the computer the final draft (12 or 14 point font) or write the final draft in cursive penmanship. Please do not put the report in a folder. The final copy of the report is due to me on Wednesday, May 30th. 2. Read from a chapter book for one hour each night. Reading log due on Friday. 3. Study our last poem for 10 minutes each day. Recitation is on June 1st. Friday Fun for all 4th graders who have turned in their homework on time and who have earned the weekly AR point goal!
