Cowboy Church Supply Round-Up

For those of you who may not know Cowboy Church (a church in our community) was destroyed by fire this month.  I is unnfortunate that this has occurred, however; this is a great opportunity for us to serve.

At the end of the year, we often have school supplies left over.  These leftover supplies could assist the children's ministry at Cowboy Church.  It's really very easy! If you would like your child's additional supplies donated to help this church, please contact your child's teacher.

If you are interested in purchasing supplies or have unused supplies at home, please label the items "Cowboy Church" and send them to school with your child.  The 2nd grade classrooms will also have bins for conated items.

Items needed:  crayons, markers glue sticks, pencils, construction paper, colored pencils.

A week full of fun!

This week will be a week filled with fun --- with a little bit of work thrown in!  Check out the schedule below.

      This week in Room 235

Monday:  Craft Day - Students may bring crafty things: Play Doh, color books, craft sets, stickers, anything crafty.

Tuesday:  Game Day - Students may bring games: board games, electronic games (only one game, please). Games brought to school may get damaged, so send them at your own risk, we cannot be responsible.

Wednesday:  Outdoor Fun Day - Students may bring outdoor toys, hula hoops, yo-yos, sidewalk chalk, etc.

Thursday:  Movie Day - Students may bring pillows, blankets, or stuffed animals.  They should be able to carry them in back-pack or arms. Each person should be able to carry all his/her own things without help. (up and down stairs)

Friday:  End of Year party begins at 1:45.  No syblings please!

Thank you for allowing me to teach your child this year.  They have grown immensely, both academically and spiritually.  May God richly bless you as you continue down the path of raising your children in His delight!
