OGMS
As the year progresses ,you can go to the link under favorite links called Class Website to see various pictures of your child participating in Social Studies and Science activities. The students work really hard on these activities, and we appreciate you visiting our site. Please initial your child's "CHOP". This is an informational folder to help keep you aware of your child's grades that he/she will be given in their classes throughout the year.
**** The lesson plans are based on the classes progress and will be adjusted if needed. There may be times when we do not get to a certain point, and it must be carried over into the next week. The next week's lesson plans will show these changes. Remember, never wait the night before a test to look over material. It is very helpful to look over a couple vocabulary words each night. Some chapters will include labeling a map. If so, begin identifying some of the places. *** It never hurts to get a head start.
This week, we will begin _Chapter B1 in our Science book. We will only be discussing lessons 1 and 2 of this chapter. The students will view flipcharts, read lessons, and complete activities to prepare them for their test for this chapter.
