- Essay writing background and read a model essay
- discuss form: introduction, body paragraphs, conclusion, thesis, transitions
- Homework - Complete the back page of this week's vocabulary paper. You you may get started on your P to a P.

- Begin your TRJHS Spring Assessment:
read the two articles; complete a persuasive essay graphic organizer, and if you have time, start your rough draft.
Homework
- Complete a P to a P using the five vocabulary words and underlining or bolding them.

Wednesday
2/29 | Mrs. Donahue's Help Session
Several of you have not passed in your poetry booklets.You should attend this help session to complete it for a loss of one letter grade off the grade you earn. After today though you are expected to pass in the booklet you will receive an
automatic 50.
If you are missing significant work for your booklet, you should complete it and pass it in for 50% credit. Classwork
- Write the rough draft for your Spring Assessment prompt, then use a dictionary to revise and edit. Begin your final copy.
Homework
- Study your vocabulary and literary terms.
